Jason Isbell used to be in The Drive By Truckers. As far as I'm concerned, he was the best songwriter of the lot of them. I mean, they're all great, but he was my favourite.

Every once in a while you'll catch a song that just fucks your shit up. For me, "Goddamn Lonely Love" written by Isbell and recorded by The Drive by Truckers on the record "The Dirty South" is one of those songs.
