Weekly Top 5

Well, this was gonna be a weekly Friday Top Five Update, but I didn't do it Friday.

So it was going to be a weekly Saturday Top Five Update, but then I went to bed at like 7:30 or some shit.

So here it is. A Sunday afternoon Top Five Update.

This week: Guilty Pleasures.

Now, most peoples guilty pleasures are things like "blow off of a hookers arse crack" or "17 liters of Chunky Munky Ice Cream" or some ridiculous shit. But this is a music blog, so here they are, in particular order.

1. R. Kelly's Ignition Remix

I so don't feel guilty about it, but I want to post about him again.

2. Fallout Boy - This Ain't a Scene (It's an Arms Race)

There's something about that little monkey's voice on this tune. It's almost sounds MoTown. Plus he has pretty nice sideburns...

forgive the shitty audio in the youtube link... universal won't let me link their vid, and apparently kids who like fallout boy sux at teh internetz

3. Phish - Farmhouse

I hate Phish with everything in this excellently toned body of mine, but for some reason this song slays me. This is a live version, so they'll probably "jam" this song out for like 3 days or some shit, but at least listen to the first minute or two... BECAREFULFORTHECHILDMOLESTER!

4. slipknot

I can literally feel myself getting stupid when I listen to slipknot. But at the same time, a lot can be said for the happiness of stupid people.

IPUSHMYFINGERSINTOMYEYESFTW!

5. Paul Potts

AMG says he's not really opera, but then again, they gave Madonna's POS Ray of Light 4 stars, while Kings of Leon's "Because of the Times" gets 3...

Paul Potts was a cellphone salesman in England, and he won the first "Britain's Got Talent." He was so good, he made the hot chick who found the dead body cry. Before she found the dead body.

Anyway, he did a KILLER version of "Everybody Hurts. Go listen.

So, that's the top 5 for this week. If you think I'm a douchebag, you're probably right. If you hate this music, you're a douchebag, too.
